It’s time to break ties to the spirit of rejection and pick up the scroll

In a vision I saw a gathering of prophets, eagles young and old standing together and they were at a wall that was brittle and after many years was finally breaking down. On the other side of this wall was a new era for the prophetic company and an end to the limitations and opposition to the house of the prophets. But as they were about to cross I heard “Wait!” “Leave the spirit of rejection behind!”

It reminded me of the Israelites who God ordered to be circumcised in Joshua 5 as a sign of severing ties with the wilderness mentality they had been living in for generations.

Then the company dropped to their knees and begin to wail and weep before the lord. Repentance and healing was sweeping over them as God did a deep work in every area rejection had sneakily fastened roots. Cynicism and a critical spirit was breaking off. Trauma and abuse was being healed and laughter could be heard as people got up off the ground. Joy had baptized them. Freedom consumed them. Then an angel handed the man at the front of the group an ancient scroll with Isaiah 61 written on it and they crossed over.

We are at this place again right now.  Healing and purifying. Deep deep healing. Refining. And deliverance. The prophetic house has been in a swirl but they are crossing other and being drawn to the feet of Jesus like we have never seen.

He is breaking that spirit of rejection off you right now even as you read this. There is no such thing as a wound free prophet. We all walk with a limp in different ways, but we don’t stay in that dysfunction or demonically inspired identity of being a victim. We can walk through it but we don’t camp there.

Gone are the days of the prophetic house being like an Addullum of misery and a theatre screening for the wounded. God is calling us forward and He will rectify all wrongs and restore your heart, but we have to surrender our past journeys at the foot of the cross and pick up our scroll again.

This is what you were created for..

The Spirit of the Lord is on me,
because he has anointed me
to proclaim good news to the poor.
He has sent me to proclaim freedom for the prisoners
and recovery of sight for the blind,
to set the oppressed free,
to proclaim the year of the Lord’s favor.”
– Luke 4:18
